Vegan Krispy Kreme Recipe?

Question

The only things I miss since turning vegan are krsipy kreme doughnuts. I used to be addicted to them!

I know it would be impossible to replicate them (they use special ovens) but can anyone tell me of a recipe that would come close?

I havent had the vegan doughnuts but I have had the vanilla chocolate cheesecake brownies (like eating the smoothest ganache in a chunk!) and she made me a coffee and walnut cake which was to die for.

Now I know that sounds a bit dramatic but as a cooker of vegan cakes I have no idea how she makes them as soft and as light as she does.  Served to meaties who didnt do the usual shove the dry cake round the plate a bit trick.

Im going to be working my way down the list very slowly as everything could disappear down my gob rather too quick!

hopefully after a little while your taste buds have recovered and if you really did taste a KKD you would realize that it really is sweet Mac D's. Utter rubbish. Don't try to replicate it!! (it makes me think of an ex smoker who always wants a cigarette)

I imagine it's not the ovens that create that 'addictive' quality.
