  1. There are plenty of good vegetarian, dairy-free recipes here:

Cheap and easy vegan meal ideas:

Products you can use instead of dairy:

    I hope this helps!

  2. Do you drink Soy milk at all? I do not eat fish nor drink milk. I substitute with soy milk when the recipe calls for "Cow" milk. I have had no problem and I have also used soy cheese. Hope this helps!

  3. One of my favorite sites is recipezaar.com.  You can filter by diet (vegetarian) and by ingredient (no cheese or milk).

I would also recommend experimenting with some of your favorite vegetables.  I have just recently switched from vegetarian (and I ate tons of cheese) to vegan.  So far, I have come up with two really good new recipes.  One was a grilled sandwich with eggplant and artichoke, with just a little spaghetti sauce spread on the inside of the bread.  I swear it was better than any grilled cheese sandwich!  The other was a pasta sauce I made up, with frozen spinach, artichokes, vegan ranch and Italian dressing, some spices, and basil olive oil.

  4. try looking up vegan recipes. if you want, where it says to use an egg replacer, you can just use an egg.

i love this site and im sure you will too. good luck!!!

  5. http://vegweb.com has the best recipes around. also, any vegan cookbook will fill your needs.

when eating out, its a little bit tougher, but just ask them to hold the dairy products. when i can't plan ahead or have a say in where we go to eat, there is almost always bread, rice, salad, fruit etc... often enough too, places will know for a fact what has dairy and will accommodate your dietary needs. food allergies can be serious for some, so its no joke to any respectable food place since a customer keeling over from food just served doesn't look too good.

  6. Google vegan recipes or get yourself a couple of great vegan cookbooks.  The recipes will all be vegetarian and completely dairy free (there won't be any eggs, either, but you won't miss them.)

"Vegan with a Vengeance" by Isa Chandra Moskowitz and "Veganomicon" by Isa and Terry Hope Romero are both excellent.  Pick them up from the library if you don't want to spend money on them without testing them out first.

  7. I would not expect you to eat fish since no vegetarian would anyway  : )

There are a bazillion recipes without dairy.  I hardly ever cook with dairy and always have something different.   Did you try to google "Dairy free vegetarian recipes" or "vegan recipes"?

  8. You can find some good recipes at http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk

  9. why don't you google vegitarian dishes into google and search the ingredients. Most things do contain cheese or milk but you could try something with fry, boil whatever you like the best and cook some mushrooms and peppers. V nice!!

ADDED: i meant to say egg sorry instead of fry!
