  1. Humans are not carnivores. Whoever is eating like a carnivore is going to have serious health problems.

  2. Who is better (he is better)

  3. A person's "goodness" shouldn't be based upon what they eat (or don't eat) but rather what they do with their lives and how they treat others!

  4. wha?

    seriously?

    i don't know any carnivores.

oh! if you mean *omnivores*, there's no contest. i choose to know each individual on a personal level and then make a decision about who is better than the other.

that's just like asking if democrats are better than republicans and vice versa. there are scabs in every type of "social" category out there. it matters not what one eats, who one prays to, how one votes, what color they are, etc.

  5. Just what trait, exactly, would cause one or the other of these groups to be "better" based solely on the definition of each?

  6. Umm just cause we're not vegetarian doesn't mean we hate animals. I have two puppies but yeah, I eat burgers.

    WHY IS THAT SO BAD???

I'd rather eat meat then sit there like an idiot and starve drooling over every hot dog or chicken wing that passes me by.

  7. In response to the person above me:

Albert Einstein once said "Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet"

Who are you going to believe? Einstein or Jessica Simpson?

  8. I'm not a carnivore I'm an omnivore to be exact.Yes my diet is balanced with fruits, veggies, nuts, soy, and legumes. I have meat on occasion. Is that ok with you? When people call non--vegetarians carnivores, it becomes obvious what side they're on.  sheesh.

  9. Are we talking about people, or dinosaurs?

All humans must eat vegetables and plant life; so do you mean vegetarians or omnivores? Because humans, biologically and historically speaking, should be eating both meat and vegetables.

  10. One doesn't over rule the other.. based on what people eat, they shouldn't be better than another. Both are equal, in my opinion, because no person, no matter how powerful, is better than another person..

"You're no better than the person standing next to you".

  11. Based on their eating habits? Neither. I don't judge people's character based on what they eat. Sorry.

  12. who gives a c**p? you just want to see people argue, don't you? i'm not playing your games.

  13. Sweetie

Carnivores - Animals who are designed to eat meat: cats etc.

Omnivores - Animals who are designed to eat meat and or veggies - humans, etc.

Herbivores - Animals who are designed to eat just veggies: cattle, etc.

Being a vegetarian is a life style choice not a biological design, so we are omnivores who choose to be vegetarians.

  14. I personally cannot stand questions like this. It perpetuates the notion that vegetarians and omnivores should be in this battle against one another and one diet/life style HAS to be better.

We are each entitled to eat as we please and not be judge for it. I think the ironic thing between the whole omnivore/vegetarian debate is that for the majority of people we are all just looking to be respected for what we choose and not told that we are sickly, lacking nutrition, not eating correctly, etc., weather we eat vegetarian or meat in our diets. The majority are just looking for a little respect and tolerance for the personal choices we make.

As a vegetarian I do not appreciate being told I am not eating correctly, when I know I am. I in turn do not preach to omnivores that choose to eat as they please. I offer opinions when asked and defend my life style when attacked.

How someone eats does not determine if they are a good or bad person.

  15. I think you mean omnivore.

    Carnivores consume ONLY meat.

  16. Vegetarian humans would be healthier than carnivorous ones simply because you can't get all of the nutrients you need from eating only meat. (And you'd get way too much dietary fat, too.) In terms of the nutrition you'd get from eating one, it's always better to eat herbivores. It is relatively rare that a predator/carnivore is low on the food chain.

I don't think you should really base your opinion of a person solely on what they eat. That's pretty judgmental and useless. (Unless they're specifically making their choices in order to cause a stir.)

  17. neither. both have their own beliefs.

  18. You can't determine if a group of people is "better" than the other based on something like this. It's like asking, "Who's better, Amish People or City dwellers?"
