Venezuela immigration?

if I wanted to immigrate there how do I do so?

Are there colleges there that can take an American who doesn't know too much Spanish yet?

First of all, why would you want to immigrate to Venezuela? Venezuelans like me are leaving the country because of high crime and political turmoil. If you absolutely insist on doing so, the government has a program called "Misión Identidad" where you can get the citizenship fairly quick. It will be just a matter of paying for some bribes but make sure you find a "reliable" expeditor.

As far as colleges goes, any private university will take you even with poor Spanish skills. Do note that they're quite pricey.

I think you should enter the country as a tourist and once you´re in, you should try to enroll in college (you will need supporting documentation to submit to ONIDEX).

Exposición de motivos dirigida al ciudadano Director General de Identificación y Extranjería.

Fotocopia de la primera página del pasaporte vigente, donde aparecen sus datos.

Título debidamente apostillado o legalizado.

Una fotografía de frente, tipo carnet.onstancia de Inscripción o Aceptación de la Institución Universitaria donde cursará estudios.

Demostración de los ingresos lícitos de que dispondrá el Estudiante en el País.

Timbres Fiscales por 4 U.T + 0,01 U.T.

Carpeta manila tamaño oficio.
