Describe Venezuela's independence (how it happened)

First Bolivar liberated Caracas (the capital) and traveled to Cartagena Colombia. While he was in Cartagena Caracas losed its independence again so he had to return to Caracas and won the independence of Venezuela by the battle of Carabobo.

All i really know is that it happen while Bolivar was causing the revolution over Spain in Grand Colombia when all 3 countries were united if that's what you mean, check out the link...
