Venice in October?

I'm going to be honeymooning to Venice in October 2008 (planning things now). I was hoping I could get some tips on what to see, where to travel, where to eat, hot spots, etc! I know it's wine harvest season in October, but that's all I'm aware of. Also, if you have any insight on what things cost, I'd appreciate it!

I loved Venice. Very romantic. I was only there for one day, but the one thing we did was take a tour over to Burano. It's a very small fishing village and all the houses are painted crayola colors. They are noted for needlepoint and lace. We ate at this small trattoria named Al Raspo De Ua.

The food and wine was excellent. I will never forget the village, the people or the restaurant. Don't forget your camera.
