I am starting to get an ear infection. I know because i have had them all my life, so i know when one is starting. i was told i would grow out of them but now im 23 and still getting ear infections. I always need antibiotics, usually strong antibiotics because i built a tolerance to them. My doc is on Vacation so i saw some new doctor who looks like she younger than me, she gave me veramyst- a seasonal alergy medicine- has anyone ever heard of using veramyst for ear infections? all the info i looked at stated that it was for alergies (pet dander, pollen, etc) which i do not have, What do you think?

  1. She probably gave it to you to help drain the fluid out your ears which is where the infection is living.
