Verizon cell phone question?

I have had this phone for about 4 years. All of a sudden it will not make any sound and it says -car kit- on the display screen. I have tried everything to turn it off of car kit. How do I get it off?

You have an LG. It is a known soft ware issues with the Lg phones. Either that or you have severe water damage.

Try these steps:

1) While the phone is powered ON, remove the battery.

2) With the phone plugged into the charger power it off, then back on.

If neither of those work, go to a store location and have your handset flashed. Or upgrade... it's a known issue if you are not eligible for an upgrade they will make an exception

omg i had the same problem!! press down the poundbutton and hold it for like 5 seconds unill it changes to vibrate mode
