Verizon lg dare? info???

i want to get the lg dare and i just had a few questions about it. i have heard that you can make slideshows for your backround. how do you do that. also is it as easy to text as everyone says. how is the paint feature? it looks like alot of fun. how does the shortcut button work? is it good? thanks

I do not have the dare, but I plan to get one ;) I played with one at the verizon store and I dont know about the slideshow/background thing, but it is really easy to text and I assume the paint feature would be god as well because the touch screen is really cool. Hope I helped ;)

I have a LG Dare, and absolutely love it!

For the slideshow, in your Display Settings menu you would go to the wallpaper, and chose Slideshow. You then are shown all your current pictures and you literally check mark (with your finger) the pictures you chose to use in your slideshow. It's a really cool feature on this phone.

I am a huge texter, and to be completely honest, the first couple of days I was annoyed. But, as you have probably read, there is a learning curve to the keyboard. But after like two days, I was adjusted to it. Plus, after time the phone sorta learns your finger so it feels so much more responsive. I have no complains now about the texting :)

The drawing pad is a lot of fun, and a good way to kill time. Plus you can send your drawings to anyone who can receive a pix message!

And the shortcut button is really handy. Basically it's a button on the main screen on your phone, and you touch it and you are given 11 shortcuts. Anywhere from your text messages, camera, calculator, drawing pad or your display settings. There is also an option where you can chose the eleven items you want displayed so you can customize it anyway you want, or change it whenever you want!
