Vero beach, florida anyone??

Question

im thinking of moving to vero beach florida. if anyone lives there ... whats it like? hows crime? whats some fun things or attractions? are the bugs scary? haha. im from penna. so any info at all would be awesome to hear from someone who is actually there or has been there... thanks!!

Not lots to do. Early Bird Special is huge at the restaurants. Lots of Senior Citizens. The beach is nice but certainly not the best in Florida. There is lots of shopping but the same stores you can find in any town in America.

I hear it is one of the next places to be developed so now is the time if you want to get in before everyone else. Right now it is not overly saturated with tourist which is good.

As for crime, it all depends on what neighborhood you live in. Crime overall is normal compared to the rest of FLorida.

Vero Beach has been one of the better kept secrets in FL. It has a tremendous park system, a couple of nearby county golf courses which are playable, several good restaurants in every price range. The weather is like all Florida weather, beautiful from November thru Mid April, hot and muggy from mid April to November.  There is great theater, and the carpets are rolled up after 11 PM. Two large shopping malls and several strip malls offer all the stores one can handle. The hospital is great with an excellent staff and medical facilities are readily available.

i used to live there kinda boring lots of sharks at the beaches like half of my family is still there i live down in key west fl i wouldn't go back there
