  1. Most vets in the UK will treat rats.

    Unlike in the US, most vets are trained in domestic 'normal' and small animals.

    So just phone your local vets and ask.

  2. I think there are a number of members in your area on here or at least people who can give up to date vet recommendations

    Make sure your vet uses the anesthetic which is by gas NOT injectible. And have a good talk beforehand. Make sure they have done the procedure before too.

    Good luck :D

  3. Here are some resources:

  4. You're gonna have to do what I did when I wanted my male rat fixed, pick up a phone book and start calling all the vets listed and ask them. Be warned that they'll probably think you're nuts but it's just about all you can do.

  5. I was going to look on mapquest for you, but I couldn't since I don't know your state and zip code. ^^;;

    Just type in your city, state, and zip code then on the first bar thing type in "Exotic Vet".  While rats are not exotic, those types of vets normally can take care of smaller animals.  If you can get their number, call them.  Even if they can't help you, ask and they should be able to recommend you to a good vet in your area.  ^^
