Video and sound driver?Can anyone help?

Question

I just replaced the operating system on my gateway.I do not have the disc's that came with the computer so now I need to find a video driver and sound. I am assuming that. Since my picture is all screwed up, everything looks funny. And I cant use my speakers. It is a 310 XL Gateway. Does anyone know what I can do? Thanks for all answers

hmmmm....its difficult 2 find drivers without knowing the name...of ur hardware........

i think ....u shuold check ur hardware..like mother board.....and from there you can find its manufacturing number/serial number....whtever u say.......using that serial number u can search driver for ur H/w like.....video and sound card.........on internet.........i think this is the best to do firsst..................if u can't get any help from this....then u should contact ur vendor.....................gudluck.........

you can get the softaware easily but you have to buy it it is a common softawre for all motherboard.the softaware will be availavable in any shop.
