Video tape low sound quality?

Question

Well i have a bunch of VHS tapes i've taped from a Bush video/tv combi between 2000-2005 and all the tapes i try in my other video players is low sound. It only played with good sound on the original player i recorded them on. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can get them to play the way they did on my old video?

cross your fingers and use the remote to see if there is any audio setting in the menu of the VCR.
