Video tapes?

i have no room to store my video tapes so i put them in the laundry room stacked up against the wall, will that ruin them?

  3. The warmer the storage area the faster they will degrade.

    The best storage temp is 70 degrees F. Above 85 the magnetic medium can warp, or become brittle over time.
