Something tells me you are interested in what  a Vietnamese likes about their country - but I will toss in an expat's observations.

1) the people are great!

2) very good food

3) very interesting culture; a very interesting country!

4) very pretty country (in most places)

5) relatively inexpensive

1) hot and humid too much of the time

2) corruption is an issue

3) I wish Vietnamese was easier to learn! Tieng Viet kho lam!

top 5; people genuinely friendly, inexpensive, life is out on the street[ your never alone OR lonely, food[ wide variety, healthy and delicious]easy to get around.

the country is in need of a good plumber, electrician and sanitation...and needs to eliminate corruption.. but actually that all works in favor of western tourist...

1. Cheap living cost

2. Great food. That's worth a lot of things

3. Sun tan and sun burn. You don't have to deal with a fricking winter

4. Easy people

5. A charming culture

3 things that suck:

1. Traffic accident could kill you

2. Lacking of common sense about privacy

3. You can't have a car easily. They're 3 times more expensive here.
