View new messages only?

Question

when I view the group..it says 600 new messages... I am new to the group and am only concerned in the latest..how can I show that they are 'read' and when i log on it only gives me the count of messages since my last login?

You could elect to receive all the posts then you could delete them or save them as you wish.    Go to the group, click edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and tick  individual email. Click save changes.

sorry, there is no such feature as that. every time you log on, it's going to show current activity, and not save where you left off.
