Virus-Search Settings 1.2?

Hi Friends,

Every time I open a Folder or My Computer I get a Install Window trying to install Search Settings 1.2 I'm pretty sure this is a Virus or Malware can any of you guide me through getting rid of this Virus/Malware and any other potentially lethal Malware/Virus that exists on my computer.
