Visa AND PASSPORT?

i hold two passports. my first one belongs to the country where i was born and the second belongs to where i currently live. on the first i have a valid USA visa,but the passport just expired,according to my embassy it can only be renewed back at home and in person. i am working and unable to travel back home for few weeks. the problem is i have a business trip to the US in a month ,can i i transfer my visa into my other passport?

You do not provide sufficient details, but regardless, the US visa that was issued into the one passport was issued to you based on the assessment of you as a citizen of that country, including security issues and visa reciprocity rules, such as length of validity, and associated fees . In addition, the visa itself is tied to that specific passport. You will need to apply for a new visa for your other passport.
