  1. You can't do it.  If he has his permanent green card then he's here to stay.  Your affidavit of support is good until one of the following happens:

    1. He works and pays into social security for 10 years.

    2. He becomes a US citizen

    3. He dies.

    4. You die.

  2. you are responsible for him even if you are not together

you signed a legal and binding document

if he not gor the right to reside etc he may not get the papers he needs to stay

    contact immigration

but it seems you are stuck with it

  3. Very easy. Write a letter to the Border and Immigration agency, addressed to Ms.Lin Homer, with all the details and explain that you are revoking your sponsorship. They will require every detail you have, date of application, entry, names etc. Better still if you have the referrence number. They will then issue him with a removal notice. If he does not leave voluntarily, then they will remove him by force.Good luck.

  4. Once he has a permanent green card, there is nothing you can do, and you are still liable for sponsorship for however many years is required.

If it is a temporary green card, then you at least can deny him the chance of a permanent green card. At the interview you tell them that you are divorced and show the proof.

  5. I would talk to a good attorney for advices.

  6. Just learn from your mistake hon

  7. if he's got his ILR then you can't. if he hasn't got his ILR yet then if you are his sponsor he won't get it. call the Home Office for further information

  8. are you married and separated? id say talk to citizens advise people, but dont hold much hope as im sure he will say the oppiste if he has citizenship now

  9. If you are for real then you can email me and I'll have a look.

    Chief Immigration Officer

  10. Call ICE "as a concerned citizen," tell them you've been divorced by your ex-husband and you have since found out that he used you only to get immigration benefits, then divorced you as soon as he got his visa/green card.  Tell them you want to file immigration fraud charges against him and revoke your sponsorship based on his defrauding you.

If you were aware of the fraud before you married him, you are guilty and go to jail + steep fine.  If you only found out about his fraud after the marriage or during/after the divorce proceedings, you have grounds for fraud charges, and revoking the sponsorship on grounds of fraud.  Hammer ICE until you get the sponsorship revoked and get him deported.

  11. If he got a conditional residence, then just don't sign anymore papers. Don't help him remove the condition.

If he got the residence for 10 years, then there is nothing you can do unfortunately. And you are still responsible for him even if you get divorced.
