Visiting Greece In August?

Hello I'm visiting Athens, Greece for a month and I want to experience the REAL life of Athens. Can anyone suggest small restaurants, attractions or anything that will give me the taste of Athens. (Besides obvious tourist attractions)

A thing all tourists like, is Greek live music. "Bouzoukia", i's a lot of fun.

Your best bet is to find a person in Athens, who  will show you around. This will be hard, because the people who will show you a good time, dont use the internet. - This is a generalisation, don't take it as gospel!
