Can you bring your own vitamins and supplements on planes?

Please answer quickly, I'm off to Chicago!

  1. You should be find to bring these items in your carry on luggage, as long as they are in there original packaging. Also you are ok to pack them in your checked luggage too. If any of the pills are prescription, just make sure they are in there original packaging and that the name on the prescription matches your name on your boarding pass.


  2. ****Liquids and gels are supposed to be under 3 oz and in a qt size ziploc.  Anything else should be allowed.  I saw allowed because they took away my peanut butter and celery in Philly, but let a long pair of scissors fly!  Go figure!

    (and I fly several times a year!)

  3. Rather than to mess with putting them in a baggie, take the easy route and put them in your checked bag.
