Vizio Tv Problems Blank Screen?

I just got a new vizio 32 in hdtv and i turn on the power button and nothing happens i tried connecting my xbox and cable and nothing happened. the screen is completley black and there is not any words, just a dead tv

Have you tried switching the input?

Sounds like you need to take this one back and get another one.  Even if you were on the wrong input, you would have a blue screen, so that is not the problem.  I think you just got a bad television.  I would stick with vizio, however, becuase it is a great brand.
