  1. Start off at a D2 school becuase you'll get a ton of playing time because in a D1 school freshman and sophomores don't play if you good enough D1 colleges will recruit you during you sophomore year

  2. This question is really a matter of preference for you. You need to ask yourself, what are you going to do in regards to volleyball after college? Think ahead. Zim pretty much summed it up.

You choose either DII playtime or DI program for its knowledge and opportunity. I personally would do the DII, play get the experience and then after 2 years, try to move and play the DI. Even if I still get less time at DI, I still have the oppurtunity for a higher level program and knowledge...but then again look at where I am at..I still play and am now coaching and reffing..so I never really put the sport to the wayside after college.

  3. If money is not an issue and you are not using your volleyball skills to help pay for your college, I'd choose the school that has the better program for your education. I'd love to play and the DII school would satisfy that for me, but the training and facilities and skills you can get at the DI level would be extremely hard to ignore even without a lot of playing time.

I would have to look at it from an "adult" perspective and choose the school that bests fits my academic interests. Unfotunately, volleyball at a competitive level will not be as available to you after you graduate from college and making any money at it would be very difficult. I'd have to decide which school would best support my future outside the game in choosing a school.

But I sure as heck would bust my butt and have as much fun as I could playing at either level! I'd love to be in your shoes.

  4. I would rather play a D2 and get more experience. Because if you want to make yourself a better player and you know you are going to sit on the bench a lot in D1 then go for the D2.

You will have more court time and you will be able to further improve yourself.

Good luck! And congrats on those choices :)

  5. I go to the college where you get the most playing time!

I don't really know that much about your second question!
