  1. I think cardio conditioning would be one thing. I played vball for 6 years. 4 in high schools and 2 in college, this upcoming semester I doubt I will play. But I really think the most important thing is stamina. It kicked me in the butt when I went back to play without any summer conditioning. I would do some running, and jumping rope. That will help get your stamina up and add to your vertical by jumping rope.

  2. if you want to be in shape for the upcoming season here is a simple plan that may help you. i will not include reps, because you should do as many as you can, and the number should increase throughout the summer. look for my answer here for explanations of some of the workouts

    light jog-around the block

    push ups

    crunches

    planks

    leg lifts

    5 yard sprints

    10 yard sprints

    25 yard sprints

    50 yard sprints

    push ups

    crunches

    50 yard lunges

    wall sits

10 min break (eat something light)

    push ups

    crunches

    planks

    leg lifts

    5 yard sprints

    10 yard sprints

    25 yard sprints

    50 yard sprints

    push ups

    crunches

    50 yard lunges

    wall sits

    2 mile run

    stretch

drain your legs (like sitting up against a wall, except the wall is the ground, so your legs should be in the air, this will keep you from getting sore)

as i said, i did not include reps, so you can decide how many. the main thing is to push through the pain and not give up. you don't have to do everything in the program on every day. have fun, and stay in shape.

  3. try some volleyball camps and do alot of exsersice and when ou have time purchase a cheep volleyball and go out side or in your garage and practice your bumping and setting

  4. First during the summer- it depends on your body type.

If you can endure pain and actually don't mind it try stretching to your limits, jogging, and getting lots f rest.

A GOOD VOLLEYBALL Teqhnique is to find a wall with nothing around. Hold the ball with both hands, put it behind your back then throw it at the ball- when it comes down, bump, set, dig, or spike it and keep going. It is just like a volleyball game.
