i am interested in animal conservation. am on a tight budget. i am looking for a long/ shortterm volunteer program. i am from australia

  1. this may sound silly but contact a fish and game club (hunting and fishing club) they do awesome river bed restoration to polluted rivers help in fish spawning programs,set up nesting boxes for endangered birds,get involved in forest replanting.Although they may hunt and fish they need to be concerned for the environment the animals live in to sustain the wildlife population.Many clubs have fish hatcheries and are active in protecting the environment from poachers.


  2. look on jobsearch.gov.au in the volunteer section centrelink will help you out if there is anything available otherwise ring around. there is always work with animals particuarly lost dogs home, rspca etc.

  3. look here for volunteer opportunities with wildlife..also internships, part time, seasonal and full time work available as well.
