WARE are MY TAXES!?

i got my state taxes back and their was something wrong with my federal ones the S.S # was wrong so they sent me a letter and i sent in all the required stuff to get my taxes and i still havnt gotten them? its been several months

If your English syntax is a reflection of your tax return entries it will be a miracle if you get anything back for months.

A wrong #ss number is not an easy fix ! They have to be sure you are who you say you are ! You can call them and wait for the prompt that says "my account"...thats the easiest way to talk to a LIVE agent....good luck

If it's over 12 weeks, call them and ask.  Otherwise be patient, it takes that long, sometimes longer.

Once you submitted an incorrect or incomplete income tax return and the IRS request some from you it will begin the processing stage when the information is received.  So you may not be at your 12 weeks from the date you mailed in the correct info.

If the letter that was sent to you requesting additional information provided a phone number call the number they will be more familiar with how to answer your questions.  If no phone number is provide contact IRS at 1-800-829-1040
