WHAT ARE SOME GOOD MED SCHOOLS?

im in middle school n thinking about wat schools i should go to. i hope u can help :)

Thinking about medicine in middle school already? That's very impressive. I didn't think about becoming a doctor until post-college.

Anyway, to answer your question...

ANY school on US soil is considered a "good" med school. There are some that are exceedingly hard to get into, of course .. such as Hopkins and Harvard. But even the "bad" med schools on US soil are good enough so that every graduate is virtually guaranteed a job upon graduation.

The only exception are the med schools that belong to US territories in the Caribbeans. Most students try to avoid those schools because even though they're easy to get into, graduates will have a hard time finding residency* in the US (required to practice medicine in the US).

* residency = training period for doctors. These are typically 3 years (or more for surgeons) , during which the doctor becomes a night owl and works about 80 hours a week.
