WHY can't Tiger win?

Question

why can't Tiger win, when he's playing from behind? is he uncapable of "coming back" in Majors?

Well for one thing the courses are usually set up tougher in Majors so that birdies aren't so easy to come by.  Only four guys were under par Sunday at Augusta.  If you are going to make a big comeback from five or six down and the leader doesn't throw up on himself, you have to shoot a pretty low number and that is just tough to do in a Major.  And maybe because he is so often leading he doesn't have the mental preparation down to come from behind.

hit some great escape shots but he just couldnt get the 10 footers.

he already had his days maby he will come back with 62 and that day would be the best

Come on!  Do you really believe he can't win a major (or any tournament) coming from behind?  People just like to nitpick on his game, because they can't find anything else wrong with it.  We all know Tiger is the best front-runner in history, but there is no way I'm going to believe that Tiger has some "psychological block" that prevents him from winning a major from behind.  He might never do it, just because he doesn't have to, but that doesn't mean he can't.

Simple; he doesn't make those clutch putts that he always made back in '97-'02.  He missed 3 key putts on Sunday alone that were very makeable.

The only player that can beat Tiger is Tiger. Thats about it. Good play by other players is a factor but if Tiger is on, no one is stopping him.

Why can't he lose when he's ahead? I don't know the answer to this one, but if anybody knows...how many leads did Nicklaus lose on Sunday? Same difference.

I think tiger played really really good last sunday.  he almost did come back and win!!  he made some awesome shots to get out of trouble.  If he just would have made a couple more putts he might have done it.
