It is fake to a degree.  The men still take a beating and get slammed against the canvas.  The WWE wrestlers have to be in good shape and learn how to take a fall.  This may sound easy, but is not for the size of these men and some of them are older.  The match is setup and the wrestlers know what is going on and it serves a purpose.

Real or fake, you have to give these guys their props.  Their athleticism is amazing! The strength, the acrobatics, the gymnastics. Anyone that can do the things they do five nights a week deserves respect.
