Most of them were just jobbers so they really served no purpose for being in the WWE. They have better luck in TNA.

With exception to Cherry, all of those people were bound to be released.

One of the Highlanders appeared at a live event in TNA, and was spotted in the audience. The Highlanders getting released was not surprising, and neither was Colin Delaney. Cherry is the only confusing one out of the bunch, mainly because she was in storylines on SmackDown and not jobbing on a regular basis. I don't understand how they could've fired her.

When Stephanie releases people it's usually because she thinks they will be nothing but jobbers for life. Although the Cherry release surprised me. Sometimes it is just because their character isn't going anywhere.

In all honesty, this was probably the best round of cuts so far.  Up until last week, the Highlanders hadn't been on television since before Wrestlemania, Richards is an expendable jobber (which does hurt me to say), and Cherry and Delaney really weren't doing anything or going anywhere.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's another round of cuts soon.  Expect to see Kenny Dykstra on the list...it seems  to be a trend to give someone a match, and then show them to the door lately.

This is old news...no one knows why but one of the Highlanders not sure which one wrote in his blog that he isn't upset over it and that he saw it coming.  He wasn't happy there and he hadn't been in the ring in 7 months.

To be honest, they should divest themselves of even more than just the Sunday Night Heat guys. If I were Vince McMahon, I'd clear out ECW all together, for starters. How sad is a promotion that has Big Daddy V as its headliner. TNA is clipping at WWE's heels, so they don't have time to be jerking everyone around. It's time for Vince to trim the fat and save up a war chest. Vince out lasted Ted Turner and his consortium of investors. It would be ironic for him to lose now to the Jarretts and Dixie freaking Carter. Kurt Angle jumped ship as did the Steiners and Booker T. TNA was also able to nab the one superstar that Vince was never able to get his grubby fingers on: Sting. So to answer your question, cutting these jokers makes them available for TNA to snatch up and not Edge, Cena, Y2J, Jeff Hardy or someone else that the WWE might actually miss. If Vince is reading this, CUT SANTINO MARELLA!

The Highlanders you could see comming a mile away. They showed up at a TNA Impact without permission from WWE and were shown in the crowd, duh, way to keep your jobs, boys.

WES ADAMS IS REPLACEABLE. HE'S JUST A REFEREE, AND NOT A VERY GOOD ONE ANYWAY. A DRUNKEN MONKEY WOULD DO A BETTER JOB.
