Wamma champions?

how does it work and why havent any ufc champions been awarded titles like this now that fedor is the wamma hw champ would he be able to defend it only outside the ufc i would appreciate anyones answers

Well the reason no UFC fighters have been given a belt is for two reasons. One, this HW fight between Fedor and Tim was to be for the first title given out by WAMMA. The second being that Dana White has stated that he is not part of WAMMA and will never be.

  Depending on the popularity of WAMMA over the next few years he might change his mind. WAMMA is not part of any particular organization... so since Fedor is now the WAMMA HW Champion, say he leaves Affliction and goes to the UFC or EliteXC the belt goes with him.

  The great thing about this belt is that it will promote organizations to work together for fights.
