Question:

War in Russia...what will happen?

This war that has broke out in Russia and Georgia, what is going to happen? Will America become involved? Will it end soon? If America gets involved will America's allies become involved as well? Will it spread to other regions? What is most likely going to happen?

  1. Sadly, I don't think we'll get involved.  Too many of our troops are being dedicated to the unjustified war in Iraq to be used justifiably to end this conflict in Georgia.


  2. Hopefully, Russia won't try to occupy Georgia; they'll probably just destroy their military and then pull back into S. Ossetia and the other breakaway region; if they're really upset they may capture Georgia's president and try him as a war criminal. The US won't get involved, nor should we, it's not our job to start protecting tiny countries who decide to start wars with Russia.  

  3. The war is going to end soon. Georgia can’t compete with Goliath Russia, and that is why the Georgian president is calling for a cease-fire. America will not become involved, due to the fact that it would trigger a costly and major war with Russia, if not start World War III. Unless Russia decides to have a full-blown invasion of Georgia, I do not see it spreading to other regions. However, this war will strain an already strained relationship between Russia and America.
