  1. I don't think so.  

    I think he was just crazy and pretty smart.  (Which I can see how people would think that counted as "genius" but I personally don't.)


  2. To me, innovation is the key to genius.

    We must articulate a methodology or a process which advances the knowledge or skill set of a specific discipline.

    He advanced the knowledge of flight mechanics with the Spruce Goose.
