He said that if seekers are to discover truth they must question all that they are taught, rejecting that which will not stand up to examination, and accepting only that which is supported by evidence

  1. That is the motto of a scientist.    Belief just don't cut it.

K'ung Fu-Tse (kung FOOdsuh) or Confucius, said this.  To him, life was rather sour.  Under Confucianism, the use of precisely measured court music, prescribed steps, actions and phrases all added up to an extremely complex system of rituals, each used for a particular purpose at a particular time.  The opposite of the Tao, this way of life disrupts the natural flow of things.  (Not something I would recommend doing)
