Was it lousy service?

Hi this is how it went my dad gave me money to get some breakfast at a Del Taco. While he gets something at a gas station. He handed me some money and i went in to Del Taco and I was just standing there for like 8 minutes. Then the lady took my order then I said a Deluxe Chile Cheese Fries and a big fat breakfast taco. then I was waiting and my dad walked in and asked me whats taking so long and I told him that they were. So he went to the car and i waited like 8 more minutes and while I was waiting the lady was giving me really bad, and nasty looks and then I finally got my order and I jogged to my dad's car to get home. Then I got in the house and opened the breakfast taco and took a bite. Then I noticed that there was no bacon on it. When there is supposed to be bacon in it so I threw it away cause it ticked me off. And thats what happened

14 isn't so young and doesn't justify throwing food away.  Yes, go back and complain----but not and never to the waitress.  She isn't paid for that.  To the manager. And be nice about it and tell him about the inconvenence this has caused you and the gas spent and how disappointed you are.

Incidentally, when you didn't get service at the beginning, you might have accelerated the process by ringing their bell or calling out:  "H e e lllllllo!  Excuse me......" and when she comes explain you've got people waiting outside for you.  Maybe you should open your burrito there to make sure that the bacon is there and they left off the kangaroo.....

Yeah, that's crappy service. I'd complain to the Del Taco people. Send them an email explaining what happen and they might replace that taco you had to toss.

Yes that is lousy service and it is probably because you were a kid.  If you look young or are young adults tend to not respect you and give you bad service because they get bother by kids all day.

As for complaining about service.  Some restaurants have web sites where you can send in praise or criticize.  I sent in praise to Dairy Queen and got two letters of apology and coupons for a meal.  It actually happened another time but I can't remember the company.

It makes me wonder if they actually read those things.  If I do send in a complaint, I try to complement another place to balance it all out.  No Crabby Patty here.
