I need to buy a new washing machine for my tenants as the current one has broken down. Obviously budget is an issue. Which one shall I get?

  1. I've got an LG one, wasn't too badly priced and it works well....

  2. i dont know what model you will want, but there is some in currys, and can find them in alot of kitchen shops, im sure u can find a machine that will fit your budget. =]

  3. Go to a second hand shop since its only for tenants.

  4. Indesits are quite cheap (about £200 mark for basic models) and are, in my experience, really robust. They have certainly taken the hammerings I give my machine. I have used second hand ones and new and found both good.

You may be able to pick up a second hand machine from some charity shops, though. I don't think they would remove the old one, though, you would likely have to arange an uplift from the council. However, most of the main electrical stores can take away the old one for you. I don't know if there would be a charge, though.

  5. Recomend a commercial grade washer for about 700 at Lowes.  Comes with coin slots, adjustable up to $2.00.  They will deliver and hook up and remove your old washer.

  6. I have found Hoover to be the best. I got mine from a local shop in Bucks but Currys are good if you are able to do a cash deal. They will take the old one if you go for delivery.
