Washing shoes!?

Question

My Converse shoes (tennis shoes) got a little dirty. They're light yellow. I was wondering if i could wash them in the washing machine? If not, how? (Without wearing them out/Fading color)

wash them in reg washing poeders,with no bleach added....... let air dry....the dryer will run the glue hoding them together and don't let dry in sun the sun is a natural bleacher

just use a small brush like an old used toothbrush then rinse and scrub the dirt of your shoes with water and small detergent

dous a towel is bleach then scrub really hard, works like a charm

I always wash my shoes in the machine.

If you add bleach, theres a chance that your shoes might lose a little color.

Dont put them in the dryer for too long, put them in the dryer and then put in the sun to dry.

I heard putting shoes in the dryer for too long might make the whites of your shoes yellow.. but it never happened to mine.

i think you can wash them in a washing machine.. i have never tried converse in washing machine but i have tried nike and it works.. even though the feeling is a little weird at first.

I washed my Adidas shoes in the washing machine and after i used white shoe polish and worked great.
