Question:

Wasn't that the perfect length?

The race at Michigan today was 400 miles and lasted less than 3 hours. Shouldn’t that be how long all the races last. I think that was perfect. Even though I love NASCAR, 4 hours seems to be a little long. What do you think? By the way, Happy Father’s Day!

  1. i thought that race went by extremely fast, before i knew it it was less than 10 laps to go! That was a real nail biter at the end...whoooo Jr finishing on fumes!

  2. It was ok, I feel that TNT could have made better use of the extra time they had instead of cutting it short and culling interviews from race coverage and instead making viewers have to go to nascar.com to see them.

But until the end it was a pretty boring race with barely any cautions except for the end, I think that's why the race was so much shorter.

  3. I like the length of today's race best. It is hard for me to watch 4 hours of a race because of my 2 year old son. Even today, I missed the last 3 laps. It sounds like a missed A LOT.

  4. Three hours with this piece of c**p COT is plenty. "Follow Da Leeder" and I knew it would be a mileage race.

  5. Hey, there!  I would have enjoyed another hour with the same outcome if it were possible.  Maybe a full length interview with the race winner afterwards.  I'll never get enough NASCAR!!!!!

  6. I had the same feeling. It was a perfect length. It didn't last 4 or 5 hours. I am a die hard fan but todays race was a perfect length.

  7. I second Rowdy's World's answer.

I like the length of the races. I believe they should remain longer, as they should be true tests of endurance for man and machine alike.

  8. i have a strong feeling some people around here think it was a little too short.

    not me, but some people.

    ;-)

  9. I think the length was perfect. But if you ask me it was a pretty boring race. The final 10 laps were interesting, but that was about it.

  10. I liked the race!
