Watching American TV Channels in Australia?

Is it possible if I get a Satalite Subcription, I can watch American TV, in Australia?

Fox Cable has things like Fox news, CNN, History Channel and that kind of thing. I don't think they have all the programming, for example I don't think US episodes of shows are shown, if they are going to be shown here months later.  So it is not fully identical to watching the same channels in the US.

A lot of our free to air shows are American in origin, and some not even a week behind. Also some US news is shown, but only at 4 a.m.(your morning shows).

I don't know about a channel, but if there are specific shows you want to watch, they will most likely be on Bittorrent.

Austar ~~~ I get just about every channel there is,mind you it costs me $100 a mth.

You're probably best visiting Hulu.com and similar sites via a U.S. proxy server. Google both those and you'll be set.
