Watching Movies with Audio?

Ok, So I watch movies sometimes on my laptop and I have bought an S-video cable (currently disfunctioning, see a seperate question) but when it connects (or when it used to connect) the audio comes out of my laptop speakers, which is fine but I don't want to keep blasting my laptop speakers over possibly connecting to the tv's speakers

Is there a cable to connect from a laptop to a TV (or to a DVD-VCR combo audio controls)

As you've already found out, S-Video is video only - your TV may have a 3.5mm stereo jack input input which would connect to the headphone socket on your laptop.
