Watching Olympics... Gymnastics?

I am watching the Olympics(women's gymnastics) it's the gold medal qualifiers(or something like that:). SO you know how there has been a huge controversy about how the Chinese qymnasts look sooooo young.Which I agree to, not meaning to offend anyone. So I thought that you HAD to be 16 to compete, but a chinese gymnast just had her age set as 15! I'm just really confused and if anyone could clear it up for me, that'd be great!!! :)

The Americans are getting screwed.  The Chinese are cheating.  The judging is a joke.  That about sums it up.  Now it's time of the IOC to step in and correct the situation.  Take the Gold member away from China for using under aged team members, bump everyone up a stop and fire the Chinese coaches for turning their backs of the team selection committee.

Of course we all know that will never happen!
