Ok so I started my period yesterday and I was unable to go to a water park. But I'm going to another water park on sunday. My period will be very light then because it usually last from 2-6 days. What should I do?!

I don't want to wear tampons.

  1. ok i just did this recently, wear a pad and put your bathing suit bottoms over your underwear. once you get in the water the pad sucks up w/ water but you whenever it comes out it goes on the pad and doesn't leak. the water does stop it. i was so nervous my first time but it works. oh and you can even do it when your flow is really heavy

  2. You should really give tampons a try. They're not at all uncomfortable, and they allow you to do a lot more. You'd definitely be able to go to the waterpark without worrying. Other than that, if your period is light enough, go without anything and just go to the bathroom every 5 min or so.

  3. I hate to break it to ya sweety, but your going to have to wear tampons. If you put them in right, you wont even feel it. Just remember to take deep breaths. They do have instructions on the box.

  4. you have to. its unsanitary to go in the water without one!! (for the other people in the water! ew) get a smaller tampon since it will be light.

  5. period goes away in water:S. You shouldn't have a problem.

in some cases, it doesn't, so wear tampons. I was just like you before my last one. Scared. So just ask your friends how. And ask people, and shove untill you can't feel it. I had the same problem :S. Well, i mean, like i didn't put it in all the way so it kept falling out. They are sooooo much better, you can't feel them. Go tampons!!
