Water breakage question?

what does it look like..smell like... how can you determine it from urine. i have been trickling a lot after i pee... only when i pee though..i have to sit there for a fewcuz it keeps coming out! but when i walk around it doesnt do as much..its been going on since last night...maybe i'm just being paranoid

if it stops at all then itsnot ur water. when the drs broke my water it was like gallons and it had some bloos in it. lol u'll know

Well if it's your water it would trickle and not stop. When you stand up it could just be your baby head corking it. When my water broke it trickled and for a couple hours I couldn't tell if I was peeing or not. Turned out it was my water breaking. Better safe then sorry. If you go to hospital they have a strip they can test the fluid

It definitely sounds like it could be your water leaking. It is possible that the baby's head is corking it, which is why you're not leaking as much when you're walking around. I would go to the hospital to get things checked out, just to be on the safe side.

Pee smells like ammonia and your amniotic fluid doesn't.  If you find you can't control it then it might be best to go ahead and get it checked out to be sure.  My cousin thought it was just her pee leaking too and then found out that her water had been leaking for 2 days.

Urine has a smell, no matter how you describe it.  Amniotic fluid doesn't have a smell at all.  Use a pad to catch it, no odor or color...Amniotic fluid.  If there is any oder or color, it is just urine.

Amnio fluid smells sweet (like a sickly sweet)...if it's trickling while you are walking around you should probably call your Dr. They can run a test to see if your bag of water has a leak in it. You don't want to be walking around if it has...it can cause a bad infection. Also, until you know for sure, DON'T have s*x.

Call your Dr. It could be your water...it could be that you are unable to contain your urine any more (I pee like a 2 yr old at the end)...but either way, it's always better to be safe than sorry.

well you might be leaking. i was this way with my son but i felt moisty and that was unusual for me so i knew that it was that when it kept happening. it is hard to tell though because sometimes it smells and sometimes it doesnt. i have three kids and it was always different with each one. go get checked out just to be on the safe side.
