Water bugs, roaches?

Question

i found a bug in my room that looks liek a roach. i live in a clean apartment, and have a child thats a month old. How do i know if its a roach? could it be a water bug? what else could it be? it has long antenas an oval body, its not the size of those big brown roaches, but it is fairly big.....dark brown body, and its back legs are really sfunny looking. it ran when i turned the light on, and was really quick.

please help me

"it ran when i turned the light on " ... i couldnt stop laughing there :P.. umm maybe its heracross LOL. nah but it should be a cockroach.. remember there isnt just one type of them theres heapss!... i hate them alot, maybe you should call pest inspectors.

Sounds like a german cockroach and if so they are hard to get rid of . And you live in an apartment so they can come from you nieghbors apartment. Call pest control and they can spray weekly and its usually reasonable.good Luck!

CALL  SOMEONE TO SPRAY SURE. IT'S SUMMER SO BUGS CRAWLING IS MORE COMMON.
