I would like to know what vegetables are the most water-intensive and which require the least amount of water to grow. Maybe a top ten and bottom ten would be appropriate in order to limit the results.

  1. Skunk comes to mind (canabis)

  2. For those that want to list, on the wet end add rice, cranberries, sea weed, and water cress to foods, with pond lillies, algae, marine grasses and ornamentals (water). These have a need for standing water. Leaf crops generally need high amounts also. On the dry end don't forget dates, prickly pear as food and cactus (ornamental) on the list. There are many plants we grow and not all of them are things we eat. Those that are esthetically pleasing in other areas are big business. A crop is that which one grows for a living.
