Water nasty on a cruise! Why??

Question

I went on a Caribbean cruise with Carnival and the water tasted pretty nasty..

The food was great but the water tasted horrible. Do they not purify the water!

Anyone had a similar experience out there??

You may experience an odd taste in the drinking water. This is because the ship recycles their water and they go through this vast cleaning process. Even then, it still dose not taste fresh. I would stick with bottled water.

I thought it was ok but my wife wouldn't drink it.

We brought a case of Arrowhead with us.
