Waterproof coolers?

Question

i am going kayaking and i need a waterproof cooler. if you have one what brand is it? if you go kayaking/canoeing do you usually bring a cooler with food and drinks? i am going with a group of friends...

Hi I usually just use a small nylon zipper cooler for day trips.  I put it in the dry hatch on my sea kayak, and access it when we make a lunch stop. I use a deck bag in front of my cockpit and put some basic snacks in there (trail mix, jerky, some carrots, an apple, chips, etc.)- all stuff that doesn't really need refrigeration so much.  Always have a water bottle handy while I'm on the water too.  

For overnight camping, I've gotten by with 1 or 2 of the smaller 12 pack coolers too, mostly for drinks, then I can squish them down and stuff them into the boat when they're empty.   I've had the coolers fall in the water before (not so graceful getting out all the time), but haven't experienced any issues with them not being waterproof.
