Weather and Climate?

Peope who live in Bahrain must have noticed sandstorms for the past week, but today, it just passed reality.I've lived here for a decade and a half but never experienced something like this! Anyone know the cause of these storms, and any indication as to when they might be over?

May Allah return healthy weather and climate for us and the good people in Bahrain.

It is mentioned in the newspaper that by Friday, the weather will be clear and that it will be normal. It was also mentioned that it's gonna be very hot when this sand storm is over.

Although, I received an e-mail (unknown source) that a storm is heading to this region coming through India and then Oman. Oman will have the biggest impact. And the estimated time to reach the Gulf is Saturday. But I do not know if the source is reliable.
