Weather in Rome?

I will be in Rome on Friday, leaving Tuesday morning. I have been checking the weather and it is NOT GOOD. Can someone in Roma tell me what the weather is supposed to be and if I should bring a jacket or sweater. What should I wear to go out at night to dinner and bars?? I'm planning on taking 2 cute dresses, one to wear with leggings and then I have some nice jeans and camis with a few shrugs to wear over them, a nice pair of black pants. Will this be acceptable to wear out at night in Roma?? I'm also going to Sorrento & Naples then Sicily (taormina & palermo) Any tips from Italians. I am Italian American and I know a little (very little) Italian but I will use what little I know while there.

Weather in Rome is changing everyday. In the morning could be cloudy, at midday sunny, in the afternoon windy and rainy at night...but that's how it is during march. Bring a light jacket or sweater, although is not cold anymore it is always useful. What you are planning to bring is fine. Sorrento and Naples regarding weather are pretty much the same. With the little italian you know you'll do fine. People will always help you out. Have fun and enjoy Italy.
