Web cam on 2 computers?

Question

I have some really annoying neighbors who come into my yard all the time. I Brought a cheap web camera. But what I want is can I share this on 2 computers? Like I have one computer in My room that is networked to my other computer at the other side of the house. The one in my room only has a small HDD but the other one is massive. So can I network it so I can record on one and view on one? I don't want to buy an IP camera or camera server. Can I do it for free or a small price

control or view computer 2 from computer one with vnc

you will have to allow it across the firewall

you install the server on the victim's computer and the viewer only on the viewing computer

you enter the ip of computer number 2 in the server line of vnc

you can lock in the ip if you wish  ( static ip)

to get easily into the other computer or say share a recorded file area say a folder - you can create a hamachi network
